FAQ
What is included in the ticket price?
Accommodation, food and drink. Travel expenses and insurance are the attendee's responsibility.

Do I need to bring anything?
Clothes, toiletries, a laptop and a smile should cover it.

How do I pay for my ticket?
If your application is successful, all attendees will be sent an invoice and bank details to make a payment via bank transfer. Payments must be received in full no more than 1 week after notification of successful application.

Something has come up, can I cancel my ticket?
If you cancel 28 days prior to the event, a full refund will be issued. Cancelling within 28 days of the event, no refund will be given. However, we will try our best, but cannot guarantee, to find a replacement attendee. If we can, we will provide a refund.

Do you have insurance?
Yes! Public liability, theft, damage, fire cover, etc. Please contact us at hi@codecab.in if you require a copy of our insurers T&Cs. We strongly advise you to take our travel insurance as you would for any trip, in case you have to cancel and cannot get a refund for your ticket or your travel expenses. If we have to cancel the event we are not liable for any travel costs incurred.

Are there any Covid restrictions or guidelines?
No. We have nothing place, since there are no government guidelines regarding group gatherings in the UK. Our event is a small gathering, in close quarters. Attendees will be sharing rooms (see FAQ section on sleeping arrangements) and we will be learning, discussing and sharing meals all in the same space. Government messaging will be monitored for any changes to Covid guidelines.

Does the venue have WiFi?
Yes! Although given the remote location, expect a level of flakiness :)

What are the sleeping arrangements?
There are 23 adult sized beds split across 11 bedrooms (2 people sharing per room, one bedroom for three people - double bed and bunk beds), all with en-suite toilets and showers.

Does the venue have disabled access?
Yes, including an accessible bedroom on the ground floor.

How do I get there?
The venue has great public transport links and is easily accessible by car.  Full details will be sent out nearer the time.

Does the venue have car parking?
Yes, for approx. 10 cars comfortably.

Can I smoke inside the venue?
Nope! You’ll have to take that activity outside (that includes vaping and any other e-cigarettes).

Can I bring my dog?
Nope, sorry, no pets allowed in the venue.

Do you have a code of conduct?
We will be following the Conference Code of Conduct [https://tinyurl.com/cc-code-of-conduct]
Should you need to raise any issues, you can either email hi@codecab.in or speak with any of the organising team, aka "the conference staff" (Matt Brailsford, Lee Kelleher, Lucy Brailsford, Karl Tynan or Lotte Pitcher) whilst at the event.
