We will be doing our spring trash clean up for Friends of Yellow Creek on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We are part of the Adopt-a-Highway program and are responsible for the stretch of 422 between S. Harmony road and the park entrance. We have some IUP Honors College students who have volunteered to help and some members of the community sailing group. We are hoping to get more of the FOYC community involved. We will meet at the Environmental Learning Center at Yellow Creek (near Dragonfly Pond on the south side of the lake on route 259) to get organized at 10:00 AM. We will meet again at noon to have some pizza and beverages. Safety signs will be on route 422 and volunteers are provided with gloves and safety vests.
