Inclusive Schools Week Virtual Assemblies
As part of Inclusive Schools Week Dec 7-11, SFUSD and Special Olympics have teamed up with Galileo HS, James Lick MS, Glen Park ES and Thurgood Marshall Access to host a Special Olympics Athlete Speaker. The speaker will share their own personal journey, and talk about the importance of inclusion and equity.  Each assembly will be targeted towards that specific grade level, but if your class has a conflict you are welcome to join a different time that works for your schedule.

SFUSD and Special Olympics have also partnered together with the San Francisco 49ers to host a Unified Fitness session during the week. If you would like to participate, please indicate below and we will follow up with more information.

The theme for this year is "The Time for Inclusion is Now”.  Inclusive Schools Week has celebrated the progress that schools have made in providing a supportive and quality education to an increasingly diverse student population, including students who are marginalized due to disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference, and other factors.
