We are the IFToMM Young Faculty Group, a cross disciplinary group that wants to give voice to mid-career researchers (post-doctoral and research fellows) within the research topics and objectives embraced by IFToMM.

Our first activity is this survey. Its main objective is to collect the interests and concerns of mid-career researchers of IFToMM and beyond, including not only research-related subjects like cutting-edge technologies, best practices, and funding, but also more personal subjects such as work/life balance, future career expectations, work environment, and stress in general.

Your answers will be aggregated anonymously. The resulting statistics will be used not only to plan our future activities according to your interests, but also to investigate academically the current state of mid-career research, which might lead to publications. 

At the end of the survey, you will be given the opportunity to share your contact details with us in order to be regularly informed about our activities and receive a report on the survey results. Your contact details will be saved in a completely different database, and hence your answers to the survey will remain anonymous.
