WCJC Experiential Learning Scholarship
Through a Title V Grant from the Department of Education, WCJC is able to provide a limited number of scholarships to students who are participating in an unpaid internship or other applied learning experience.

This scholarship is intended to help students take advantage of applied learning opportunities which will enhance their skills and understanding of their career pathway.

Criteria for consideration:
1. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled at WCJC for a minimum of 6 credit hours in the SPRING 2024 term
2. Recipients must be participating in a unpaid internship or applied learning experience reflective of their intended degree/certificate or program of study in the SPRING 2024 term
3. Recipients must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to apply

Requirements to earn scholarship:
1. Meet with Experiential Learning Specialist (ELS) three times (initial, mid-point, and final) and Academic Career/Transfer Advisor at least one time during the internship term
2. Complete Internship Activity Log. When applicable, supplement with completion logs from site Supervisor for clinicals or practicums that will be turned in at final ELS meeting further demonstrating the experiential learning activity and the enhanced skills acquired by the student
3. Provide contact information for the Internship site supervisor who will work with the student
