The Bonner Leadership Program at George Mason University is a four-year curricular and co-curricular program designed to develop future leaders who are socially responsible and able to act with communities to bring about social change. By partnering with community agencies, students become socially responsible leaders who understand the ideas of citizenship and democracy, the differing modes of civic engagement, and application of these ideals across a changing social and political landscape. Our Bonner Leaders become engaged citizens prepared to generate social change that will enable a sense of purpose and meaning with a common focus on community service and tackling global questions.
An applicant for this program has asked you to provide a letter of recommendation on their behalf. Using this form, please provide a description of how you know this student, their commitment and dedication to the community, and why you believe they would benefit from the Bonner Leadership program.
