Feedback for T.E.D.D.Y. - Text-based Early Distress Detector for Youth
Half of all mental health conditions start by 14 years of age, but most cases are undetected and untreated. Globally, depression is one of the leading causes of illness and disability among adolescents, with suicide being the third leading cause of death in 15-19 year olds.

TEDDY enables counselors, teachers, doctors, and HR professionals to detect potential mental health concerns, such as depressive or suicidal thoughts. All they have to do is enter essays or reflections written by their students/patients/employees, using the website linked here: https://teddy-technovation.streamlit.app. The AI-based tool will then flag sentences that may be cause for concern, so that students/patients/employees can be connected to the appropriate resources and emotional support.

We would really appreciate your feedback on how we can make T.E.D.D.Y. even better, in order to solve this global problem.
