Step 1.

 - Check if it's already in the list.

Go to the text box on the GD heardle page and look up the song name. If it's there, there's no point suggesting it.

Step 2.

 - Don't suggest incredibly obvious songs.

Things like ATSOL, Time Leaper, any song in the main game, Dimension, etc. I have already checked. If it's not in the list, it's probably not uploaded to soundcloud, and as such I can't put it.

Step 3.

 - Make sure that it's uploaded by the original artist on soundcloud.

There are multiple ways to go about this. This step isn't too important but it's easier if you do take it before suggesting a song. There are multiple Waterflame songs that I couldn't put in because Waterflame did not upload them to soundcloud and the reuploads could be taken down.

If you've passed all these steps, then go ahead and suggest it!
