2024 PFLAG San Diego County Scholarship Application
PFLAG SDC SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 3.0 GPA for High School Seniors
-Minimum 2.8 GPA for Undergraduate/Graduate Students
-Is an established resident of San Diego County at time of application
-LGBTQ+ high school senior continuing to full-time** undergraduate study or
-LGBTQ+ full-time** graduate student
-Must attend the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 8, 2024

** We will consider half-time applicants with an explanation of the circumstances that prevents you from attending full-time.

Award of all scholarships will be calculated upon the following criteria:
-A well-written application essay
-Demonstration of financial need
-A history of strong academic achievement and community engagement
-Compliance with all application requirements

This application and all of the required documents must be submitted electronically by March 15, 2024.

Scholarships will be awarded on June 8, 2024.

The Launching Leaders scholarships are intended for students who identify – and are managing their lives – as members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our scholarships are intentionally targeted to students who face the present and future challenges of actively living one’s experience as LGBTQ+ individuals.
