Please use this form to request the places you would like to book for your child/children for the next half term.

You can use the one form to request places for all of your children if they are all requiring the same dates - if there is the odd date where you are only requesting a place for one of your children for example, there is a comments section to add this information.

If the dates requested are going to be different for different siblings, please use a new form for each child.

The Den - Payment Information
We ask for payment for all places requested, to be paid on the day of booking, this can be via cheque made payable to Barnham Broom Primary School or cash (to be in a named, sealed envelope) alternatively, you can send payment by bank transfer (please email the office to let them know when this is sent) or childcare voucher.

Any places not secured will be refunded to you or alternatively carried over by arrangement with the office.

Please remember that once booked and paid for, any cancellations are non-refundable.  

Ad hoc bookings must be paid for at the time of booking; bookings made over the phone will need to be paid for during the next school day (payment can be sent in a named envelope with the date of The Den booking included please).

A before school session is £4 per child per session.
An after school session is £9 per child per session.

The Den - Cancellations
In line with other providers in the area, no refunds will be given for a cancellation.  

We try to provide as much notice as possible for events that happen at school.  However, there may be occasions when an event may be organised after Den places have been booked.  If a place has been booked for your child and you decide that you would prefer to be with your child for the event or take your child home after the event, the charge for the place will stand and will not be able to be refunded.

It is extremely important for safeguarding the children, that you notify the school office as soon as possible, if you need to cancel your child’s place at The Den. Please provide as much notice as possible so that we are not calling in staff unnecessarily, and so that we can amend our Den registers and avoid any confusion as to where a child should be after school.  

Please do not ask the Den staff or other staff to pass cancellation information on to the school office. Teaching staff and The Den staff are not able to cancel bookings on your behalf, we need written/email confirmation of the cancellation please so that we can ensure all relevant staff are aware in time.

If there has been a last minute change of plan, where you have not cancelled the Den place via the office and you are collecting your child straight from school instead, please notify a member of the Den staff who are on the playground at 3:15pm to avoid confusion and The Den staff trying to locate your child.

Dropping Off and Collecting your child/children from The Den
Please ensure that your child is handed over in person to a member of staff in The Den; not dropped at the gate or watched in from the playground. This is to ensure that your child is safe and an adult has taken over responsibility for your child and also that they are on the register for The Den.

The Den is open from 7:45am; staff will not take responsibility for your child before this time.

The Den closes at 5.30pm - please ensure that your child is collected by this time.

Confirmation of requests:
The school office will email you with confirmation of your booking and will notify you of any sessions which have not been reserved for you.
