The students must be actively enrolled in the district.
The Chromebook and related peripherals are on loan and remain the property of MTRSD.
Parent/guardian understand they are responsible for web filtering/content filtering when the device is used off the school network (at home, public hotspot, etc.)
The student shall be the exclusive user of this device and shall not grant access to any other individual.
Chromebooks and peripherals must be returned to MTRSD at the end of the school year, or at the time of transfer or withdrawal from the district. Refer to the passages in the Student/Family handbooks for district advisories and Acceptable Use Agreement on the use of this equipment.
Chromebooks and peripherals will be returned in good condition with reasonable wear and tear.
The care and maintenance of the Chromebook and related peripherals are the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian while in their care. There may be a fee assessed if the Chromebook and/or peripherals are broken, lost or damaged.
Care of the Device While at Home
Charge the device every night.
Log out of the device when not in use.
Keep the device on a desk or table. Never place the device on the floor.

Damage or Theft
All physical damage to the device must be reported immediately to a school official. The Technology Department will arrange a loaner as needed for the length of the repair. The parent/student is responsible for all damages to district issued device and may be subject to a cost of repair or replacement not exceeding $250.
