Safe Schools For Texas has received many requests for support in school boards races around the state.  We are thrilled to see that community members and candidates alike want our support in turning out progressive candidates for school boards. Yes, traditionally school boards have been non-partisan but right now partisan values are at play.  As was mentioned in this recent Texas Tribune article (https://www.texastribune.org/2022/03/16/texas-school-board-elections/), Safe Schools for Texas recognizes that far-right candidates and supporters are coming for Texas school boards and we want to make sure that progressive values are represented and centered in the arena.
