Hello! We’re trying to get a sense of how DC Minyan members would like to engage in justice work. Our hope is that we can move away from 1-off service projects (which are great!) to deeper understanding, partnership and solidarity focused on 1-2 issue areas per year. Since we’ve already committed to helping resettle Afghan refugees, we are purely in the data-gathering phase. We feel that we are best suited to make significant changes in DC and the DC Metro Area and want to give back to our local community. As such, we’re committed to doing this work locally.
