1. Tuition

The EES 2023-2024 school year runs from 8/21/2023-6/7/2024, a total of 40 weeks. our four-week-based tuition is $740 for regular school hours from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm. You will get a 5% discount for your first prepaid tuition payment (you can prepay the whole year or only the months needed) before 5/20/2023.

2. Registration fee

The registration fee of $100 is non-refundable. It will be waived for current EES, ECS and EPS students if you register by 6/30/2023. The registration fee for 2023 summer camp students new to EES is $50.

3.  Deposit

The deposit is $740, which will be applied toward your last month's tuition or waived if you prepay the whole year's tuition.

4.  Material fee

The material fee of $200 is non-refundable.

5.  Late pick-up charge

EES students will be dismissed by 6:30 pm. They should be picked up promptly. A late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per child will be charged if picked up from 6:30 pm-7:00 pm; $2/minute after 7:00 pm.

6.  Extra care service

For schools open before 8/21/2023, EES will provide extra care service from 8/10 to 8/18;additional fees apply. You need to fill up a separate registration form for that! The registration for the extra care service is due by 07/30/2023

7. Priority registration

Priority registration for current students and their siblings will end on Saturday, May 20, 2023. After that, registration will be open to the public. 

8.  Early care service

Kindergarteners may come early due to family needs and elementary schools’ dismissal time. There is an extra charge for the early care service.

$140 for students who come around 1:30 pm or 

$260 for students who come around 11:30 am. 

Additional early care registration forms will be emailed to all Kindergarten parents before the new school year starts.

9. Tuition due date

Tuition due date and late fee: Payment is due every four weeks with a 5-day grace period. Late payment will result in an additional charge of $25, and unpaid late fees will be deducted from the $740 deposit. Please refer to the 2023-2024 EES Academic Calendar for monthly tuition due dates.

10. Withdrawal

A written withdrawal notice to EES is required 30 days in advance. Otherwise, the deposit will not be refunded.

11. Payment methods

You may pay the tuition fee electronically through Zelle or by check. $25 will be charged for a returned check.

12. Hot lunch

If your child needs hot lunch due to early arrival, you could pre-order it.  Please order the lunch by the end of the previous Thursday. The lunch fee will be $8/meal. An order link will be sent out one week before the start of school.

13. Pick-up service

EES provides a pick-up service if you need it. Transportation service is not guaranteed. Please confirm with our school office. Pick-up fees will be paid after the school year starts and charged twice during the school year. We will send out details of your child’s driver one week before the start of school. Please read the EES transportation fee policy to get more detailed information.

14. Winter break

EES will be closed during winter break (12/25/2023-01/01/2024). The two-week tuition fee will not be charged. No other vacation tuition credit or refund will be giving during the school year.  If you still want students to come to EES during their English school winter break, like 12/18/2023- 12/22/2023 or 01/02/2024-01/05/2024, an extra fee will apply.

 15. Completion of registration will depend on the reception of tuition fees and the return of required handbook materials.
