Enrollment Requirements
1.1. All students must meet the age and academic requirements as outlined by Modern Scholars.
1.2. Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their child’s academic history and health status.
1.3. Enrollment is subject to availability and the approval of Modern Scholars administration.

Fees and Payment
2.1. Enrollment fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the academic term.
2.2. Tuition fees are to be paid monthly/quarterly/annually as per the selected payment plan.
2.3. Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the fee schedule.
2.4. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
2.5. The only approved method of payment is by credit or debit card using the secure online payment portal.
*A late fee of $15 will be levied on any balance not paid by the 5th of each month.  Tuition payments are non-refundable.

The Registration Fee of $75 per family is due at the time of enrollment.   *
The Supply Fee of $100 is due August 1st.  This covers supplies used during the school day and during enrichments.  *The parent is responsible for purchasing the required curriculum for the Core Academic program. *
The first tuition payment will be due September 1st.  The subsequent payments will be due the 1st of the months following. *

Attendance and Participation
3.1. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and participate in all activities.
3.2. Absences must be reported to the administration in advance where possible. Excessive unexcused absences may result in a review
of the student’s enrollment status.
3.3. Participation in group activities and projects is mandatory unless excused by a valid reason.

Health and Safety
4.1. Parents/guardians must inform the administration of any medical conditions or allergies their child may have.
4.2. In the event of a medical emergency, Modern Scholars has the authority to seek appropriate medical care for the student.
4.3. Modern Scholars is not liable for any injury or illness that occurs during school hours or activities, provided that all reasonable
care has been taken.
*If your child becomes sick and not in a position to engage for the day, we will ask you to pick up your child early from school.

Behavior and Discipline
5.1. Students are expected to adhere to the code of conduct set forth by Modern Scholars.
5.2. Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including
suspension or expulsion.
5.3. Parents/guardians are responsible for any damage caused by their child to school property.

Curriculum and Instruction
6.1. Modern Scholars reserves the right to modify the curriculum and instructional methods as deemed necessary.
6.2. The use of electronic devices during class time is subject to the approval of the instructor.
6.3. Parents/guardians must support their child’s education by ensuring completion of homework and participation in school activities.

Privacy and Data Protection
7.1. All personal information provided during enrollment will be kept confidential and used solely for school purposes.
7.2. Modern Scholars will not share personal information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

Withdrawal and Termination
8.1. Parents/guardians may withdraw their child from Modern Scholars by providing written notice at least 30 days in advance.
8.2. Modern Scholars reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment for failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
8.3. No refunds will be provided for tuition paid in advance if the student is withdrawn or expelled.

Liability
9.1. Modern Scholars is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought to school.
9.2. Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modern Scholars and its staff from any claims arising from the student’s
participation in school activities.

Media Release
10.1. Parents/guardians authorize Modern Scholars to use photos and videos of their children in class and field trip environments for marketing and social media purposes.
10.2. If parents/guardians do not want their child’s photos or videos to be used, they must inform Modern Scholars in writing.

11.1. Modern Scholars reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of
any changes.
