“My Fair Lady”: Based on the play “Pygmalion” by George Bernard Shaw, this 1964 film adapted version of a Broadway Play centers on the story of Professor Henry Higgins, a well-to-do man who studies languages, and Eliza Doolittle, a flower girl who wants to be something more. When Eliza hires the professor to teach her how to speak like a lady, they both get far more than they bargained for in a tale of clashing classes, diction, and hearts.
