Dear Members of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, As Sponsor for the youth named above, I attest to his/her sincerity and effort in striving to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and that my candidate seeks to grow continually in knowledge, love, and service of Jesus and His Church. My candidate desires to live out a life-long journey of faith as a disciple of Jesus our Lord and Savior as a fully active and participating member of God's Holy church. I, therefore personally recommend that this candidate is ready to celebrate the final Sacrament of Initiation (Confirmation) into the Holy Catholic Church.

Dear Members of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, As Sponsor for and after careful discussion with the youth named above, who has been in the process of journeying toward the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation and who is a baptized member of the Holy Catholic Church, WE HAVE DETERMINED THAT A POSTPONEMENT of his/her celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation is the right decision at this time. The Youth I have been working with understands that he/she may choose to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at a later date and time when they are ready to commit to being a fully active participating member of God's Holy Church and live a life-long journey of faith as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
