Energizer Stations are fun hubs of activities, resources, and encouragement for Bike to Work Day participants. They’re located throughout the Alamo Area and staffed by volunteers and hosts like you!

Event Setup Tip: We recommend beginning setup at 6:00 a.m. to ensure that your station is ready by 6:45 a.m.

The Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) is leading the coordination of the Bike to Work Day (BTWD) activities in our region. Please contact Joey Pawlik, Active Transportation Planner at AAMPO, at (210) 230-6931 or pawlik@alamoareampo.org for additional details.

Please submit the form below by March 27, 2020 to let us know about your commitment to host or organize an Energizer Station. No additional stations can be accommodated after April 3, 2020.

In exchange, the Alamo Area MPO will provide the following support:
Event flyer with Energizer Stations listed and mapped.
National Bike Month website with a section dedicated to the Energizer Stations.
Promotional videos highlighting Energizer Stations.
Advertising for the Energizer Stations including ads, e-blasts, media releases, and flyers.
Branded items to use during the event which may include a table cloth, banner, and/or sponsor signage.
50 tote bags filled with bicycle maps, educational materials, and swag.
Recognition on event flyer, social media, website and signage.

Energizer Station Theme or Activities
Enjoy your station! Energizer Stations should be fun and we encourage our hosts to get creative. Give your station a theme, play music, or get some early morning yoga going. - This is not mandatory, but we'd love to hear if you have any special plans for your station this year!
