Higley Education Association Scholarship 2021-22
The Higley Education Association Scholarship is for HUSD graduating seniors who want to earn a teaching degree and become a licensed teacher. This $500, annually renewable, scholarship is awarded only to those students who:
1. Apply for the scholarship by our April 29 deadline.
2. Prove acceptance to a four year degree in the college of education for a college/university program in the US.
3. Have good prior school attendance.
4. Earned at least a 3.2 unweighted GPA by January of their graduation year.
5. Are selected as the winner from among all entrants at HUSD high schools by the HEA scholarship committee.
6. Agree to allow publication of award amount as well as name in local media..
7. (Renewal only) Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher while in college (Transcript proof
