On Friday the 24th of March 2023, SWU Thymos, ESN Wageningen, and ISOW join forces to organise the WURlympics during the One World Week. This day we will gather at Sports Centre de Bongerd between 18:15 and 18:30 after which we will do a joint warming-up in order to get a good start to the 8 different (Olympic) sports. The sports programme at the WURlympics include long jumping, ultimate frisbee, table tennis, basketball, korfball, soccer and survival run. At the end of the tournament, a final will be held to decide who is the winner and can call themselves ‘the most fit nation’! The tournament ends at 23:00, after which the Sports Pub is open for a drink. This drink will be at your own expense.

Several prizes will be handed out at the end of the evening. Not only the first, second, and third place will receive a prize for their performance during the WURlympics, but also the best-dressed team will win a great prize! So make sure to dress up very originally or even in the colours of your nation!

You can register in teams of 6 to 10 people or individually. With an individual registration, SWU Thymos will look for a team for you to join. When you register for a team, only one team member has to fill in this form and this person will automatically be the contact person for SWU Thymos. There are no further costs associated with the registering for the WURlympics.

There is room for 18 teams to register and registration is only possible via this form. If you have registered when all 18 available spots have already been taken, you will be put on the waiting list. We will make sure to send you an email when you are on the waiting list. The registrations close on Friday the 17th of March 23.59 and it is no longer possible to cancel after this date. Cancelling is only possible by sending an email to SWU Thymos. You will receive an email with the latest information on the day before the WURlympics.
