STO Application 2023-2024
Maryland State Thespian Officers have a number of exciting opportunities for being leaders in high school theatre in Maryland! 

This includes but is not limited to:
  • Organizing and helping to facilitate the Maryland State Thespian Festival
  • Organizing and helping to facilitate workshops for high school theatre students (Leadership, Troupe officer networking, etc)
Expectations include: 
  • Attend STO meetings, STO-led workshops, and the Maryland Thespian Festival
  • Remain in regular communication with STOs and the Student Leadership Coordinators between meetings and events
  • Meet deadlines, which means having good time management skills and the ability to work independently between meetings
  • Be proactive and responsible
  • Travel to surrounding schools to see shows and support the Thespian troupes in the region
  • Serve as an example of the ideal Thespian -- a scholar and dedicated theatre artist who strives for excellence
