The Cooking Spotlight (TCS) is a student led initiative that provides interactive entertainment by offering attendees the opportunity to learn about other cultures in the kitchen, while socializing and meeting other “foodies” and people from the Georgetown University community.
Every other Saturday, the participants meet via zoom and one of them shares a dish from their home country and cooks it in front of everyone. This provides the chance of both improving one’s cooking skills and of “being in the spotlight." In fact, if desired, everyone will have the chance to share their culture and cooking traditions.
