The programme will involve full time post-16 education provision alongside training with UEFA qualified coaches at CTK6. Southport Football Club will deliver the coaching and playing aspects. The team will play in the English College League Women's or National League U19s depending on ability and availability of leagues. All students will be provided with a Southport FC and CTK6  branded tracksuit, training and match kit which they will wear when attending CTK6.

The timetable is to be confirmed once we have everyone's final choices in, we will give you more information on this during open evenings and trial nights. We will endeavour to allow all scholars to choose a varied programme of study. There will be an opportunity to sit both A Level & Level 3 qualifications. Depending on numbers and timetabling logistics we may streamline the subject offers however will confirm this with you at a later date. Training will take place where possible in Sixth Form day or after 2 pm. 

*There will be 5 option blocks (subject groups) however scholars will be directed to choose 3 qualifications from 3 SFC designated option blocks. The option blocks (subject groups) will be designed around what the majority of committed squad members wish to do.  

This is a 2 year programme, you can apply even if you are currently in Year 12.

Entry requirements for a full Level 3 programme of study are 5 grade 4's at GCSE level. 

We are exploring a Level 2 programme for our scholars for 2024-25 so please indicate which programme you would be interested in. Subjects are soon to be confirmed but are likely to include GCSE Maths and English resit plus one level 2 course, training and work experience.
