2024 Summer Camp Counselor Application 
RipFest is seeking energetic, accountable camp counselors to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. Camp counselors are responsible for assigned groups for the duration of their stay. Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring meals, overseeing transitions to practices, and facilitating and participating in group activities. The ideal candidate will be an excellent multitasker with a genuine passion for working with and empowering young people. Applicants should be patient, fun-loving and confident in their ability to motivate and assist campers in everything from learning new skills to working through homesickness. Counselors have the opportunity to train 3-6 hours a day in dryland and water. Must be 18+ to apply.

Please select all weeks that you are available to work this summer, if you are hired. Camp weeks are Sunday through Friday. You will be expected to arrive by 9am the Wednesday before your week begins. You are expected to stay until 4:00pm the Saturday of your last week. There are no exceptions. Counselors are hired for four-week segments. There is an opportunity to stay for extra weeks depending on position availability. We do have weekend campers. Working the weekends are optional; however, additional payment and store credit will be given to weekend counselors. *

Applicants will not be considered without a resume and references. We will not be contacting you to submit your resume and reference. 

If your application passes the initial screening process, you will be invited to a video interview. Upon being selected as a candidate for RipFest, applicants will be required to complete a final screening which includes a background check and a possible second video interview. Background checks must be submitted in order for candidates to be processed. Candidates who do not complete the background screening process will not be considered for the position.
