The following information reflects Teen Central's current renting guidelines that were updated starting in the Spring of 2022:
All rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis and all requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your desired rental date in order to be approved. All rentals become official when we receive your signed rental agreement (which will be sent to you after you submit this form if your rental is approved) and proof of liability insurance ($300,000 minimum required). Whoever is planning on renting our facility must be the one to provide their proof of liability insurance. This is usually covered under any renters or homeowners insurance policies and can be obtained by calling your insurance agent.
Pricing: There is a minimum donation of $200 for a rental for the first 4 hours, and then every additional hour costs $50. We ask that rentals do not start prior to 8:00am or end after 9:00pm out of respect to our volunteers who open and close the center, along with the tenants that live in our building. Donations/payment is due at the time of the rental.
About the Space: We have a large gathering room, a full kitchen with a serving counter, a dining area, and a gym with 2 (1/4) basketball courts, a pool table, foosball, etc. We also have additional tables and chairs that can be placed in our large gathering room. The playground located in our parking lot is NOT included in the rental as that is owned by Zion Lutheran Church for their preschool.
Teen Central is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free facility (which also includes our property outside). These substances are prohibited during your rental.
When renting Teen Central, the renter is in charge of cleaning the facility when finished and taking all trash with them. We request that you leave the building looking the same as when you got there. We have instructions on how to do that and provide all cleaning supplies for you. If you are bringing music in, we do ask that you keep music at a respectful level. There are apartments located in our building, and it is important that we are respectful of the tenants living there.
