Adopt a Sow Program Application
Pipestone Discovery Barns in conjunction with the South Dakota FFA Ag Adventure Center will
have sows with litters and weaned pigs available for adoption by active South Dakota FFA members.

These animals are donated by the Pipestone System for the purpose of public exhibition and education.  
Requirements for Adoption:

a) Animals must be raised with caring, humane practices.
b) Adopted animals intended to be raised for market or food.
c) May not be retained with intention of breeding purposes
d) Report of status 6 months from time of adoption to Pipestone contact: Sylvia Wolters - sylvia.wolters@pipestone.com

I understand that if selected I am responsible for arranging transportation of the livestock from the FFA Ag Adventure Center on the Monday afternoon (no earlier than 2:00pm CST) of the State Fair. *
