During the state-wide school closures in the spring of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, Belmond-Klemme distinguished itself. Our school was one of only six out of 327 public schools in the state to provide distance learning for all students K-12.

One of the things we learned during the school closure was that distance learning is inferior in many ways to in-person instruction. Parents choosing remote learning must understand and accept that their students may not learn as much and may fall behind their peers while other students attend school in-person.

With this acknowledged and accepted, Belmond-Klemme will attempt to provide remote learning to the children of those parents who request it during the 2020 – 2021 school year. Please use this online form to register for remote learning.
