JLTM (Just Listen To Me!) is a nonprofit youth Toastmasters club consisting of middle to high school students based in Plano. It is a completely student-run speech club. This year, we will be hosting a virtual speech summer camp for our members, prospective members, or anyone who is interested in working on their public speaking skills.

This event will be conducted entirely through Zoom.

Current JLTM members may attend for FREE.

Highland Park and Redbud Youth Toastmasters will be subject to a $3 fee and nonmembers must pay $7 per student.

Payments will be made after the registration period. Emails will be sent detailing more information concerning payment.

Camp participants will have the opportunity to gain feedback from state qualifying high school speech and debate competitors, experienced speech youth teachers, and youth Toastmasters officers. At the end of the camp, they will have a chance to win gift cards for the virtual speech contest.

Students will be divided into groups based on their age and experience levels (number of groups tbd based on sign ups). The goal is to be able to write and deliver a quality speech appropriate to the level of the participant by the end of the camp.

Tentative schedule, subject to change based on volume of participants:
7/19-22 @3:00-4:30pm CST: Class time comprised of daily lessons speech and activities
7/23 @3:00-?: Speech competition
