inesei@lehigh.edu Abstract - PART 2: Potential Gamechangers for a Sustainable U.S. Electricity Generation Portfolio
The Fall ESE Seminar entitled, “What is a Sustainable Electric Power Portfolio?” discussed the need to develop a holistic framework for analysis of options to achieve a sustainable U.S. electric power generation portfolio. A generation portfolio that optimally balances strengths and weaknesses of available generation technology options is predicated on key constraints that govern the entire electric power sector.
This seminar will discuss these strengths and weaknesses and potential technology breakthroughs that could remove or mitigate these constraints and technology weaknesses.
You acknowledge that by attending the ESE Energy Seminar Series, you will abide by the rules as detailed:
- Unless specifically requested by the speaker, all questions will be deferred to the end of the talk.
- The Director or a designee will moderate the post-talk discussion, (questions and comments should be relevant to subject in discussion).
