Monday, July 29th 9am -11am
Please park in the parking lot and bring your camper’s things to check in at the Welcome Center Pavilion. You will see a green table. The camp store will be available for cash-only purchases. The Camp Nurse will be at Check-in to drop off medication.
You can walk down into the campgrounds, get your camper settled into their cabins, and look around where your camper will spend the week. One of the camp counselors will be able to help you. (Please be prepared to carry or wheel your camper's things.)CHECK-IN
CHECK-OUT IS PROMPTLY AT 3:00 PM ON FRIDAY, August 2nd, 2024
We ask that you park in the parking lot and meet us at the Welcome Center Pavilion for check-out. The Camp Nurse will be there to return the medication. We will have the Camp Store available. Please complete the following to verify the release of the camper.
What is the name of the person picking up your camper? What is their relationship to the camper? Please include a phone number as well.
Please attach a photocopy of the Driver's License or Photo ID of the person responsible for picking up your camper. This must be emailed with the subject: CAMPER NAME PICK UP PERSON PHOTO ID and attach it to the other forms below for full submission.
Payment will be $300. We will send out more information with payment options. Please be on the lookout for additional details.
If you have multiple children attending camp, we have a discount. 1st child will be a total price of $300. Each child after that will be $275 ($15 off). You need to fill out an application for each child attending camp.

Camp Scholarship
Scholarship money is money fundraised by Camp HERO Board of Directors and supporting organizations. These scholarships are reserved to help campers who need additional assistance to be able to afford to go to camp. Please submit a $50 deposit with your Camp Scholarship Application WITH your Camper Application. The form can be found on our website at www.gocamphero.org), and a copy of a parent/guardian's most recent tax return. Camp HERO will not cover the cost of the entire camp. You will be notified of your scholarship status by the Camp HERO Board of Directors.
*Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is needed, a letter may be written to the Board of Directors, requesting a refund. Please provide reason and explanation for the refund, which the Board will then review and determine if a refund will be granted. Camp HERO Board reserves the right to make decisions regarding refunds on an individual basis.
*DISCIPLINE POLICY
If a camper violates a rule of Camp HERO or Camp Victory, the following procedure will be put in place:
Camper will be given a warning from their counselors and a clear explanation to the rule that was broken and the behavior that is expected at camp. The Camp Director will be notified of the warning given.
Camper will have a meeting with the counselor and Camp Director. The rule that was broken will be discussed with the expectation of behavior at camp, a formal warning and if needed an appropriate intervention or consequence will be given.
The camper will be given a final warning and the Camp Director and camper will call parent/guardian to make them aware of the situation.
The camper will be sent home. The parent/guardian will be called to pick up their child immediately.
If Camp Director and/or Board Member determines the offense to be significant enough to where the camper is putting themselves or other campers/staff in danger, then the camper can be sent home immediately without warning or discipline procedure put in place.
Camp HERO Board reserves the right to send campers home if the rules are not followed or if their behavior impacts their or other campers'/staff camp experience and safety.

- Amplification Devices (aids/CIs) AND chargers AND batteries (REQUIRED)

- Medications (must be in the original bottle and labeled)

- shower caddy/ bag to carry to shower house
- Water bottle (label with name)
- bath towels/washcloths (REQUIRED)
- pool towel
- bathing suit (girls- modest & appropriate bathing suits/one piece)
- dirty clothes bag
*We will have a dance/DJ, so a nice outfit is welcomed

- NO WEAPONS (i.e., knives, BB guns, etc.)
- NO CELL PHONES
- NO MONEY
- NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, or TOBACCO
- NO TOYS
- NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES (i.e., computers, gaming devices, tablets, iPads, etc.)
Anything found throughout the week that is not acceptable at camp will be given to the Camp Director for the remainder of the week. The item will be turned over to the parents/guardians at check-out. The parent/guardian will be notified of any item the Camp Director holds.
No cell phones and cameras are allowed at Camp HERO for liability and privacy reasons for the camp and for other campers.
I understand that Camp HERO is not liable for any damages to things brought to camp. I have read and understand the DO NOT PACK LIST and its consequences.
Photography Release
I understand that photographs may be taken at camp to advertise fundraising for Camp HERO and Camp Victory. I consent to (photographing and/or videotaping) for websites or other promotional uses.
Field Trip Release
Campers may also take trips off-site and I hereby give my permission for my child to travel in appropriately supervised and safe transportation to and from any excursion.
