The student-organized Symposium, a spring tradition at SIS for over 20 years, is a fantastic opportunity for you to help manage a research conference and to hear about the international studies research that AU Undergraduates are conducting. Abstract Evaluator -- read and evaluate abstracts during the week of April 1 to help organize the panel presentations and poster session for the conference (SISU-206 completion required; SISU-306 completion preferred)

Advertising -- design flyers and other advertising materials for the Symposium; help distribute advertising materials

Communications -- work with one or two other student volunteers to monitor the Symposium gmail account, respond to inquiries, and send out information as needed

Program Design -- design the final printed Symposium program (experience with layout and design software preferred)
