The success of any camp is due in part to the Board of Directors demanding the highest standards of safe and moral behaviour from staff, counsellors, and campers. For the benefit of those who may be unaware of our standards, the following represents a partial listing which covers the most obvious concerns.
Safety
 - Smoking, alcohol, e-cigarettes or other vaporizers, cannabis, and non-medicinal drugs are prohibited at camp.

 - The possession/use of electronics including but not limited to cell phones, iPods, mp3 players, headphones, and smart watches is not permitted at camp (unless permitted by the Director for extenuating circumstances).

 - No food items are to be brought to camp.

 - Except for swimming areas, foot protection is to be worn at all times.

 - All waterfront areas and wooded areas are out-of-bounds unless the camper is participating in a supervised activity.
Respect for Fellow Campers and Staff
The following will not be tolerated:

 - Offensive or profane language

 - Physical or emotional abuse of another person

 - No scented products, such as perfume and body spray, are to be brought to camp
Respect for Property and Nature
 - Camp property and property belonging to individuals must not be disfigured, damaged, or destroyed.

 - Nature (plants/animals) must not be abused or harassed.
Respect for Privacy
 - Campers must not enter a cabin or room other than the one assigned to him/her.

 - Campers will not enter the area of other camps - Camp St. George, Lavrock, Woody Acres
Respect for the Duties of Others
 - Campers will not enter the kitchen, office, or other areas specified by the Director, unless for assigned duties.
General
 - Campers must strictly adhere to additional standards/rules/guidelines imposed by the Camp Director, and approved by the Board of Directors.

 - A camper must attend all programmed activities unless excused by the Health Care Provider and/or the Camp Director

 - Prior permission from the Camp Director must be obtained before leaving Camp for any reason.

 - The Camp Director is to be informed of any unexpected visitors.

 - Parents are discouraged from calling campers, except for in emergencies.

The Camp Director, in consultation with the Youth Programming Team has the authority to send a camper home for not conforming to the standards set out above. Any camper sent home will not be eligible for a registration fee refund and may not be eligible for consideration as a camper in the future.
