2024 Innovations in STEM Education Grant
Innovations in STEM Education is awarding up to $500 to teachers in Southern Illinois. The purpose of the grant is to enhance STEM education, support environmental sustainability, improve science literacy, and increase engagement by addressing issues unique to Southern Illinois. The grant(s) will be awarded to public school educators (grades K-12) and should be used within the 2024-25 school year. Grant recipients for the 2023-24 school year are ineligible to apply.

Grant applications should be submitted by May 31, 2024. Recipients will be notified by June 30th via email and funds will be distributed beginning August 1st. When you submit your proposal, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

A final report is due by May 1, 2025. Your final report must include a description of your project, investigation, or field trip along with student progress and/or engagement. Photos with consent are encouraged. 

If a final report is not emailed by the deadline, I understand that funds may be asked to be reimbursed.

I understand that the final report is a requirement of accepting grant funds. Failure to submit a report by the deadline may result in a request for reimbursement of funds to Innovations in STEM Education.
