SCREENINGS
Responsible Parties must implement mandatory health screenings, including temperature checks, for students, faculty, staff, and where applicable, contractors, vendors, and visitors to identify any individuals who may have COVID-19 or who may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.  Specifically, ALL INDIVIDUALS must have their temperatures checked each day.  If an individual presents a temperature of greater than 100.0*F, the individual must be denied entry into the facility or sent directly to a dedicated area prior to being picked up or otherwise sent home.  Responsible Parties must also use a daily screening questionnaire for faculty and staff reporting to school.  Remote health screenings may be implemented for student-athletes.

TRANSPORTATION
Parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their child to and from practices and home contests, as well as, transport their child to the school for bus pick-up and/or drop-off for away contests.  Parent/guardian drop off requires the parent/guardian to wait for screening clearance before departing.

SPORT PHYSICAL
Student-athletes must have sport physical clearance through the High School Nurse’s Office for participation.  Parents/guardians must complete the Athletic Health History and Interval Card (pink card) to be reviewed by the School Nurse.  Cards can be picked up and completed daily at the High School main entrance (Palmer Street Entrance).  The pink card must be completed by noon on Monday, September 21st.

SCHOOL FACILITIES
Availability of indoor school facilities will be limited to emergency response situations only.  Daily use of locker rooms, etc. will be unavailable.  Student-athletes will be expected to arrive dressed in practice/contest uniform gear.

STUDENT-ATHLETES
In accordance with NYSDOH guidance, Responsible Parties must ensure a distance of at least six feet is maintained among individuals at all times, whether indoor or outdoor, unless safety or the core activity (e.g. practicing, playing) requires a shorter distance.  If a shorter distance is required, individuals must wear acceptable face coverings, unless players are unable to tolerate a face covering for the physical activity (e.g. practicing, playing); provided, however, that coaches, trainers, and other individuals who are not directly engaged in the physical activity are required to wear a face covering.
*  Students should tell coaches immediately when they are not feeling well.
*  No hugging, high fives, shaking hands, or fist bumps.
*  Students will be responsible for their own hydration (water), and are not to share water bottles, containers, drinks.

PARENT/GUARDIAN/SPECTATOR
As per NYSDOH guidance, spectators must maintain six feet of physical distance between individuals and/or family/household units at all times and all spectators must wear face coverings when they are in common areas and situations where six feet of distancing is not able to be maintained, so long as they are over the age of two and medically able to tolerate such covering.
*  As per NYSDOH guidance, Responsible Parties must limit spectators to no more than two spectators per player.

CONTESTS
Responsible Parties will adhere to guidelines/regulations as outlined by NYS Governor’s Office, CDC, NYS DOH (local DOH), NFHS, NYSPHSAA, Section 3 Athletic Office, Center State Conference, and FS School Policy.

Please note, decision making regarding final offerings of these sports for the upcoming fall season by the Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District is contingent upon the number of student-athletes committed to participation.  In addition, the sports season is subject to any change based on additional guidance and/or executive order.
