This workshop will provide attendees with information related to the university’s promotion and tenure policy as this policy applies to community-engaged scholarship. The facilitators will overview similarities and differences in the process of evaluating the quality of community-engaged vs. traditional scholarship; attendees will have the opportunity to learn and discuss strategies for supporting community-engaged scholars in the promotion and tenure process.
