Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition (SMAC) welcomes Lisa Meeks!  "Disability as Part of Diversity In Medical Education" October 7, 2019, at noon in the Munzer Auditorium in the Beckman Center. Lunch will be served immediately following at 1 PM!
The Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition (SMAC) is composed of people who have disabilities and their allies. Membership is open to everyone at Stanford Medicine, including Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, University HealthCare Alliance (UHA), Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Packard Children’s Health Alliance (PCHA), and Stanford Children’s Health.

The mission of SMAC is to:
 
·       Foster and advocate for the equal treatment and well-being of everyone at Stanford Medicine, regardless of differences.
·       Promote collaboration between people who are passionate about disability at Stanford Medicine.
·       Advocate for accessibility, resources and disability services at Stanford Medicine, above and beyond that required by law.
·       Promote disability as a part of human diversity, inclusivity, and equity.
