Junior Auxiliary of Houma Service Request

The Junior Auxiliary of Houma is a local 100%-volunteer-run service organization with a variety of service projects that support the families of our community. Our members receive service hours for their participation in our projects that count toward their annual hour requirements. While our service projects are our first priority, we do allow our members to receive occasional Public Relations or "Other Approved" hours for supporting fellow non-profits in their service efforts with board approval.

Due to a high number of requests for event volunteers, we are requiring submission of the following form to present these opportunities to our membership. Before completing the form, please read the guidelines below to ensure your volunteer opportunity meets our criteria. Once received, we will evaluate your request and respond within two weeks. 

Guidelines

  • We cannot fundraise for other organizations. 
  • We primarily support organizations/events whose missions align with our own--providing charitable services beneficial to our local community that focus on providing physical and emotional support to those in need with a particular emphasis on children.
  • We need at least a 4 week advance notice. We will be in touch within 2 weeks of request to let you know if we are able to help.
