Do I need any experience to apply?
No! Any experience is welcome.
Do I need to be a certain age?
We accept high school students (under 18 requires parental permission) to infinity. If you're interested in screen printing, you are welcome here!
What will I be doing during the internship?
Interns will assist LCP with tasks including reclaiming screens, cutting fabric and screen printing LCP patches and posters, small cleaning tasks, and folding/counting/boxing printed shirts. Other tasks can pop up, but those are the main things we need help with most of the time. You will also be learning other key industry knowledge with the LCP team while you're at the shop - questions are welcome and encouraged.
What are some perks of the internship?
Once 25 hours have been reached within your time with us, you may be eligible for a $350 credit towards taking one of our workshop intensives to print your own designs and projects as well as possible open studio time during the day when LCP is open for hours accrued after the initial 25 hours. This is all assessed by the LCP team at the end of the 25 hour accrual.
What times am I expected to be there?
We look for shifts of 2 - 3 hours Monday through Thursday during the afternoon - early evening (11AM - 4PM).
We can work with your schedule, as long as it fits within these bounds.
