WASD Reopening School Survey
Dear Wautoma Area School District Parents and Guardians,

The Waushara County School Districts (Tri-County, Wild Rose, and Wautoma) are working together with the Waushara County Department of Health to determine how to best reopen schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Each school district is administering a version of  the survey (located below) to their respective parents to seek their input regarding this important topic.

We ask that you carefully read the questions in this survey. The  survey will be open from June 23rd to June 29th.  Thank you for your feedback.

Please only submit 1 survey per household.

The following are potential options for how schools COULD look in the Wautoma Area School District at the initial reopening in the Fall of the 2020-2021 school year.  Please THOROUGHLY read each of the options and rank your preferences for student learning  Please select your 1st choice, 2nd choice, and 3rd choice in the dropbox next to each item.
I would prefer to send my K-12 child/children to school daily with ALL other students attending, knowing that various safety measures will be in place. Whenever REASONABLY POSSIBLE, physical distancing will be implemented - HOWEVER, it must be understood that due to the nature of the school setting it is NOT possible to ensure physical distancing at all times. Facial coverings MAY be required as a safety measure for riding on the school bus.  Facial coverings would be recommended but NOT REQUIRED in the school setting. (4K families will be contacted regarding their child's schedule). *
I would prefer sending my child/children to school on an alternating day schedule ( Example:  Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) where only 50% of ALL students are in the buildings on any given day in order to help improve the ability to implement physical distancing. Facial coverings MAY be required as a safety measure for riding on the school bus. Facial coverings would be recommended but NOT REQUIRED in the school setting. *
I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE sending my child/children to school due to COVID-19 and I would rather have my child/children stay at home and receive their education virtually/remotely through a Learning Management System provided by the school district. (Please understand your child/children will be held to the same academic expectations as students in the school setting.) *
Thank you for your responses. At this time, we are just gathering parent feedback to assist us with our decision making process on how to reopen schools. No decisions on how to reopen schools have been made.
