How to Be the Best Teacher for a Child with Autism while Maintaining a Happy Classroom
This workshop is designed to provide teachers and educators a working knowledge of how an individual with autism thinks, the principles behind why children with autism respond the way they do, and the perspective needed in the classroom to work with this unique population of individuals effectively, increase the likelihood of their success, while making the classroom experience better for yourself, the child with autism, and all of his/her classmates. This training will be held on Friday, June 7th from 9:00-3:00 at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center.  Registration will begin at 8:30. The cost to attend this training is $75/person and lunch will be provided.
