Spring Fling - Help plan our Spring event and family fun night.

Geckopalooza - Help plan our Fall capital fundraising campaign and family fun night.

Teacher Hospitality Events - Coordinates Teacher Appreciation Week, Holiday Luncheon, and other events to support teachers and staff.

Spirit Events - Plan and promote restaurant Spirit Nights.

Book Fair - Plan and manage annual book fair at MGE

Multi-cultural night - Help plan a night to share food and culture from around the world.

Wellness and 5K for Education - Promote health and educational success for children. Support Nurse Lara, Ms. Frangipane, and other staff during health and wellness events and activities. Provide support on 5k for Education race day. (March)

Gecko Gear - Help with sales and distribution of spirit wear/gear during selling events.

Membership - Promote MGE PTA Membership, process applications, track gifts and manage overall membership accounting

Helping Geckos - Help organize and distribute school supplies, holiday gifts, or food for families In need.

Yearbook & Picture Day- Work as a grade level or special events representative to support the Yearbook Coordinator with production of the yearbook (January-March)

Audit - Review 2022-2023 financials during summer of 2023 (requires about 1-2 hours total).

Advocacy - Represent MGE PTA and promote advocacy opportunities that impact our schools.

Math Olympiad - We need a lead and volunteers to run the Math Olympiad program for 4th and 5th grade students. They meet once a week after school. (Oct - April)

Chess Club - Volunteers needed to supervise the after school chess program

Nominating Committee - We need at least 3 people to promote the PTA and identify members for roles within the PTA, primarily Chairs and Officers

Room Parent Lead - Manage communications, room parent recruiting and coordination

Misc. Volunteer - Be added to our list of volunteers that are emailed when help is needed (ex, picture day, book fair, etc )

Reflections Art Contest

Garden Chair- Help coordinate gardening days and help teachers/families with gardening projects
