This is a great opportunity for your child to participate in different activities both inside and outside of the classroom.  June 21st - July 15th will be enrichment activities such as:  science projects, chess, checkers, outdoor hikes, sports, we will utilize Wallowology and The Josephy Center, art, etc.  Beginning July 19th through August 12th we will have two sessions:  an academic piece and an enrichment piece.  The academic piece will focus in on students needs and our hope is that we can continue to close the achievement gap brought on by COVID and the challenge students as well.  We will finish the summer the week of August 16th with just enrichment, no academics.  It is important that we gather as much information as we can so we can plan transportation, food, and teachers.  Attached to this email you will find a schedule for the summer events for each of your children.  We want to get as many students involved as possible. You can pick and choose weeks!
