Provision  of Laptops/Devices

We have been escalating our ability to deploy devices to children both in school and into homes.  We now have significant number of devices and will be operating 3 schemes:
1. Social Worker – those children with an allocated social worker will be loaned at no cost a laptop via the DfE/local authority scheme for the year.
2. Limited access and meets financial criteria – those children who meet the DfE criteria for hardship may receive a device on loan directly from the DfE (administered by school) or may receive a device on loan from the school, both for the period of the isolation or shielding (not all year).
3. Universal Loan Scheme of All – a loan scheme with a £30 non-returnable annual deposit that the parents of all children can access, in a priority order.  Please see website for information on how this scheme works, an online form and payment instructions.
