Sign-up to Create Art for the 2023 UCT Res4Res In-Person Physical Exhibition
This year, Res4Res is planning an in-person, physical exhibition. Get ready to share your residence stories in this one night exhibition event. 

Titled 'Res4Res: Our Stories', this exhibition seeks your stories, narratives, and perspectives which will be curated into one exhibition at the end of September.

The theme is: “Our experiences in residence”
Why? Because, when you share your story, we are reminded that we are more alike than we are different.

Express your artistry and creativity and sign-up to create and display an artwork at the Res4Res: Our Stories exhibition. This year, categories will fall away, and all artworks will be eligible to win a share of R6,000 in Takealot vouchers. 

"Res4Res is now fully embracing its new identity as the space and platform for creative and artistic expression in residences, especially those who just love to create, regardless of degree. Last year, Res4Res Unleashed showed us the massive hunger and desire to express yourselves creatively. Then, week by week for 4 weeks, you will receive guidance, support, and accountability from the Curator, while you are creating your artwork. You will learn about mediums, experimentation, context, framing, display, and writing artist statements. These are essential skills for any artist to have in today's world (whether or not its your career).
