Sidak 2024 - Application Form
If any fields on the form that do not apply to you, please enter N/A. Please ensure to provide as much detail as possible. Answers will be read by the admissions committee and relevant dietary, allergy and pertinent medical conditions will be shared with appropriate people.

Sidak is designed for participants who are between the ages of 18 and 39. 
It's important to note that this program is an intensive two-week experience that will challenge participants academically, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

In 2024, we will be accepting 60 applicants. If we receive more applications, those individuals will be placed on a waiting list. For the application to be considered complete, a letter of recommendation and resume are required.

Before You Begin
The application takes 30-60 minutes to complete. Please have your materials ready to complete the application once you start. You can edit your form once you start your form if needed.


You will need:
•   Medical information, including insurance or health/care cards
•   A completed resume emailed to Sidak@sikhri.org
•   A letter of reference emailed to Sidak@sikhri.org. The reference can be from a community setting, a professional setting, or an academic setting.
•   Please note, your application must include the resume and cover letter to be considered complete 
•   A 250-word answer to each of the three questions below. If you would like to submit an alternative format (audio or video), please email the link to the recording to Sidak@sikhri.org.

•   Tell us when you took a leadership role in your family, workplace, or educational institution. What impact were you able to have?
•   Tell us about a personal or professional challenge you overcame. What did you learn from the experience?
•   We want to know about your Sikh journey. Describe your journey with Sikhi so far. What do you hope to gain from your Sidak experience? What unique perspectives will you bring to Sidak?

[Optional] Explain any extenuating circumstances that have impacted your journey.


Upon completion, a copy of your form will be sent to you.
