As doulas, our goal is to provide non-biased, evidence-based support and education during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Through the Cape Fear Area Doulas scholarship, we provide birth and postpartum services to local birthing people on a needs basis, especially those who are unable to afford the out-of-pocket expense of hiring a doula or lack the necessary support. We sincerely believe that doula access is a reproductive justice issue and that all birthing people deserve to be well-supported and informed during their childbearing year, regardless of income.

All information in this application is confidential. Cape Fear Area Doulas will not share your information with anyone outside of the organization.

To be eligible for this scholarship, if seeking a birth doula you must be 34 weeks or less. If seeking a postpartum doula, you must be within the first three months postpartum. Please contact us if you are outside of these windows for other resources.
