BNL Productions LTD is entering its 15th year of business; we are constantly growing and excited to welcome a new member of our team to join our team on a freelance basis.

BNL  produces film content for a range of clients and projects, including (but not limited to) event highlight films, documentary-style evaluation video, TV Ad, corporate promotional videos, instructional videos and animations.
We are looking for someone who is a trained and skilled camera operator and or video editor that can work independently and as part of a team under the management of our producers.   BNL have a full filming equipment kits, you may wish to use your own equipment, please detail below what equipment you are willing to use for this role.

Desirable skills/experience:
- The operator should have their own unique aesthetic style of filming and or editing
- Have an understanding of camera settings to create different image styles in different environments, including, shutter speed, lens speed, gain, aperture, ND filters, colour profiles etc.
- Confident using a gimbal, sliders, lighting kits etc.
- Have an existing portfolio of professional work/showreel
- Be comfortable directing talent
- Be able to conduct interviews for the camera
- Time management and initiative to work independently
- Communicate with clients with a professional manner
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.(E.g. Adobe After effects- being able to manipulate existing client branding into film via photoshop and illustrator)
- Be able to color grade confidently
- Ensuring a high level of quality is maintained across all outputs.
- Working closely with the creative team to achieve the desired outcome of each output.
- Creative thinking
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Be experienced  working in a professional filming environment and have an understanding of the processes of production and set etiquette.

This will be a subcontractor agreement role on a freelance basis offering a competitive hourly rate, that will cover travel time & mileage (from our studio to the filming location) and any other hospitality agreed in advance.

N.B.
-BNL will complete an access NI for you in advance and supply you with a casual uniform.
- We will reach out to you to offer work on a project-by-project basis to see if the dates suits.
- This freelance roll has the potential to become a part time or full time roll
