International Parade of Nations Application:

WHEN: Saturday, April 28, 2024 at 2pm

WHERE: 7507 Eastview Drive, Irmo, SC  29063, Meet at the Stage area

General Instructions: ​

• It is an honor to participate in this parade and represent your nation. NO POLITICAL STATEMENT is to be made in the parade. Flag bearers are to walk in an orderly respectful manner.

• Please limit the number of parade participants representing your country to no more than 6-8 people.

• On the morning of the festival, stop by the welcome table to confirm your participation and get a numbered card marking your order in the parade.

• Please BE COURTEOUS and LISTEN to instructions given by Parade Coordinators.

• Participants could be on their feet for 30 – 45 minutes. The announcer will follow a master list of all participating nations. Following directions will  help to maintain order.

• All participants should be dressed in national attire by 1:30 pm on Sunday.   

• By 1:45 pm Sunday, report to the stage with your group and your flag carrier, and assemble in your assigned numerical parade order.

• Assigned festival volunteers will be holding ropes marking the parade area, and helping to maintain order.
