Repertoire suggestions for NJMEA All State High School and Intermediate Orchestra
In an effort to receive input from as many string teachers as possible, the procedures committee is asking for suggestions to determine the next cycle of high school and intermediate string solos. When choosing repertoire, the committee takes into account length, technical range, musicality, appropriateness and availability from publishers. The procedures committee is made up of representation from each of the three regions, as well as representatives who report to the full board of NJMEA. Committee members are:
NJMEA: Justin Louie (procedures chair), Susan Meuse (performance chair) and Susan Mark (all state orchestra auditions chair). Region 1: Norma Davis, Nate Lienhardt and Eric Schaberg. Region 2: Patty Gonsky, Arvin Gopal and Barbara Vierschilling. Region 3: Rhea Fernandes, Laura Kearney and Alex Rones
