- Chinkapin Oak - Full sun (6hrs daily). Moist well-drained soil
- Red Oak - Full sun (6hrs) to partial sun (4 to 6hrs), Moist well-drained soil
- Swamp White Oak - Full sun (6hrs), Moist well-drained soil
- Black Maple - Full sun to full shade (<4hrs), Moist well-drained soil
- Black Cherry - Full or partial sun, Moist well-drained soil
